Only a school admin can see the BYO Branding tab, set up branding, or buy the add-on.
The Free Trial
BYO Branding is included during your 30-day trial, with no credit card needed. This is so you can see exactly how your own logo and colour look in your dashboard and in the Family Hub before deciding whether to keep it.
If your trial ends and you haven't added BYO Branding:
- Your school returns to Octavia's own branding.
- Nothing is lost. Your logo and colour stay saved, ready to switch back on the moment you add the add-on.
Pricing
BYO Branding is billed annually, at the same cadence as Pro Teacher, from about AUD $10 a month (AUD $120 a year). The Pricing page shows the price in your own currency, along with Studio pricing by number of teachers.
Adding BYO Branding
While upgrading to Pro Teacher
- Open the Upgrade page and choose Pro Teacher.
- Tick Also add BYO Branding. If your branding is already live from your trial, the box is ticked for you.
- Continue to checkout — one purchase covers both.
If you're already on Pro Teacher
- Go to School Settings → BYO Branding and choose Add BYO Branding, or use the Add BYO Branding button on the Upgrade page.
- Complete checkout.
When you add it part-way through your year, you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current period, and from then on it renews on the same date as Pro Teacher. It appears as a separate invoice from your Pro Teacher subscription.
After checkout you return to Octavia, where a banner confirms your payment and then confirms BYO Branding is active. This usually takes a few seconds. If it hasn't shown after a minute or so, refresh the page, or email info@octavia.studio.
If the Add-On Stops
If your add-on ends or isn't renewed, the dashboard, Family Hub and emails go back to Octavia's branding. Your saved colour and logos stay in place, so reactivating restores your branding without you setting it up again.
