Correcting Lesson Pack Billing
If a credit has been applied to a lesson incorrectly, you can restore it from the invoice detail panel. Restoring a credit puts it back to available without changing the lesson or attendance record. Situations where you
When You Might Need to Do This
Situations where you might want to restore a lesson pack credit:
- A lesson was attended and covered by the pack, but you later decide it shouldn't have counted toward the pack (e.g. it was actually a makeup lesson that should be tracked differently)
- A credit was applied to the wrong lesson and needs to be moved
- You want to reverse a retroactive application decision
How to Restore a Credit
From the invoice detail panel for the lesson pack invoice, you'll see each lesson that has consumed a credit. On any consumed credit, you have the option to restore it. This:
- Returns the credit to
availablestatus - Removes the link between the credit and the lesson it was applied to
- Does not change the attendance record — the lesson remains marked as attended
- Does not change the lesson itself in any way
The credit is then available again for the next relevant lesson the student attends.
What Happens After You Restore a Credit
The pack usage count updates immediately to reflect the restored credit as available. If the pack had been marked as exhausted, it becomes active again.
The restored credit will be consumed again automatically the next time a matching attended lesson is processed.
Restoring All Credits in a Pack
There's no single "undo entire pack" button, but you can restore credits one by one from the invoice detail panel if you need to fully reverse a pack's billing history. This is an uncommon operation but is fully supported.
